Chorion is further consolidating its relationship with Haven Licensing, appointing the firm as its agent for Olivia, The World of Eric Carle and Noddy in Australia and New Zealand.
Haven is already sub agent for Beatrix Potter in the region and has also been representing Mr Men and Little Miss for the past four years, resulting in the business growing over 300 per cent for the brand in this territory.
"We are very excited to be working with our friends at Chorion on these amazing brands," said Tom Punch, MD of Haven. "As a father who has read The Very Hungry Caterpillar approximately 5,000 times in the last year, as well as many, many permutations of Olivia, I know the brands' potential, as well as the lovely characters and art that surround them.
"They appeal so strongly to children, and we are looking forward to building a strong merchandise programme around them to expand their appeal to the little fans, and parents."
Melissa Tinker, SVP, Asia Pacific at Chorion, added: "We have a great track record building the Mr Men and Little Miss and Beatrix Potter franchises with Haven and we are thrilled to expand our relationship."
