Classic children's series' Bagpuss, The Clangers and Ivor the Engine are now available on iTunes.
Coolabi, who has TV distribution for the three properties, has sealed a deal on behalf of the rights owners with E1 Entertainment to make the original episodes available for download.
Within days of launching, the shows all went straight into the top five of the Kids' Store Chart with five star ratings.
"By tapping into the huge iTunes market with these classic and much-loved brands, we can access both adult fans who remember the programmes from their childhood and kids who are discovering them for the first time," said Michael Dee, director of content at Coolabi.
Jon Bourdillon, director of home entertainment at E1, added: "With such a huge following of fans, Bagpuss, The Clangers and Ivor the Engine are perfect for iTunes, and we're already seeing they are going to be a massive hit. What's more, we'll be exposing them for the first time to international markets and to a new, younger audience in the UK."
