Conair extends Hello Kitty licence

Fluid World renews existing partnership; New products due to retail in Q4 2011.

Conair will now add fashion, sport and leisure bags and luggage to its current range of branded electrical hair care, hair accessories and cosmetic cases.

A new Hello Kitty travel collection will feature embossed cases and overnight bags suitable for children and adults, plus a new line of baby changing bags.

Libby Grant, brand director for Fluid World, said: “Conair understand how to translate character licenses into products that appeal to consumers of all ages. This latest range spans kid’s right through to adults ensuring that all Hello Kitty fans are catered for.”

Graeme MacPhee of Conair added: “It’s unusual that one property allows us to produce a product range that appeals to new mums as much as style conscious ‘tweens’.

"We’re having a lot of fun designing the range and we’re confident that it will replicate the massive success of our other Hello Kitty product lines when it launches at retail later this year.”

The products will launch in time for autumn/winter 2011.
