Cookery author Annabel Karmel launches Hello Kitty pasta

The popular children's cookery author has partnered with Sanrio to launch Hello Kitty shaped pasta and encourage kids in the kitchen.

Children’s cookery author Annabel Karmel is launch a new range of organic pasta shapes inspired by Hello Kitty.

The range has been designed to encourage children to have fun in the kitchen and cook simple meals as part of Sanrio’s #OneKindThing campaign.

The new partnership will also see Annabel and Hello Kitty film a series of vignettes for social media, making pasta sauces from scratch.

The deal has emerged in the same year that Hello Kitty marks 2015 as its Year of Kindness; a mission to spread kindness and inspire people to do #OneKindThing for a stranger, friend or loved one.

‘With more than two decades of experience in cooking-up innovative ways to get children eating well and developing a love of good food, Annabel is excited to be collaborating with one of the world’s most loved characters,’ read a press release in the partnership.
