Site sells toys, books and more alongside new licensee Heroes for Kids' own branded range.

Coolabi has partnered with Heroes for Kids to extend its popular Poppy Cat brand with an online character store. provides a centralised location for fans of the brand to buy toys, books, accessories as well as Heroes for Kids own Poppy cat products and exclusive online ranges.

The new licensee will also develop a collection of personalised and non-personalised gift wrap, greetings cards and edible cake toppers aimed at children aged two to six.

Valerie Fry, director of sales, Coolabi, said: "Poppy Cat's bold and colourful style really comes to life in the Poppy Cat shop.

"Heroes for Kids has done a great job and developed a site that is easy to use and engaging for parents and gifters.

"We look forward to working with them both on the new store and also as a licensing partner for Poppy Cat."

The two year deal will also see Heroes for Kids products available at other online retailers such as amazon and eBay.

Poppy Cat stars the voice of Joanna Page - of Gavin and Stacey fame - and airs daily on Nick Jr and Nick Jr 2.

The series is based on the award-winning books by Laura Jones, which have sold more than 2.5 million copies worldwide.

The series is co-produced by Coolabi's television production arm, Coolabi Productions, and the Emmy shortlisted and BAFTA winning King Rollo Films.
