CPLG Germany has picked up two accolades at the LIMA Germany 2010 Awards.
The agency won Promotion of the Year for the activity surrounding the 60th anniversary of the Peanuts cartoon strip. This included Snoopy and friends appearing on postal packaging and on special promotional products from Müller Dairy. CPLG Germany also worked with the A Heart for Children charity.
The success of the anniversary campaign led to a 30 per cent increase in the amount of licensees for the Peanuts brand across Germany.
In addition, the agency walked off with Licence of the Year for Hello Kitty, in conjunction with the licensor Sanrio. A number of DTR deals have been signed for both Hello Kitty and Charmmy Kitty, with the brand establishing significant presence in the German market.
