Licensed calendar specialist Danilo is looking to fill a current gap in the market for personalised calendars.
The company has been working with Pixel8 to create a personalise.com brand design and ecommerce website, so that it can offer personalised calendars and greeting cards online.
For example, consumers will be able to see their - or a loved one's name - featured on a Manchester United shirt held by Sir Alex Ferguson, or on a billboard outside Old Trafford. Hollyoak's fans could find Carmen McQueen asking them to be her valentine in February, or Darren Osbourne requesting a meeting under the misletoe in December.
"Danilo realised there was a gap in the market for personalised calendars, so we have set them up to become the Moonpig of that market," said Pixel8's joint managing director, Jamie Watson. "Pixel8 has helped Danilo to produce its award winning licensed calendars for the last decade and was well placed to help them diversify with this exciting new brand.
"The bespoke software we have created for the website has numerous other applications, including the creation of uniform marketing collateral for multi-site franchises."
Personalise.com will also be working with retailers to create white label personalised calendar sites.
