The show isn't even on air yet, but already licensee interest in The Hive is high, with PPC Enterprises striking its first partnership deal.
Aykroyds and TDP will be producing a line of children's apparel for the pre-school property.
Comprising 78 seven-minute episodes, The Hive follows the fortunes of the Bee family. Storylines explore the themes of family, working together to solve problems, being part of a diverse community and caring for the environment.
The Hive has been signed up by GMTV in the UK and is also being pitched to North America.
"To have a first licensee signed before the show has even been broadcast demonstrates the huge potential of the brand and this is certain to be the first of many more deals for The Hive," said Mark Hurry, legal and commercial director at PPCE.
