Forever Friends has launched a new iBook featuring the iconic bears titled When Magic Really Happens.

The Forever Friends storybook is available for the first time on the iPad, and is 'a heart-warming story of kindness' following the little bear on a magical sleigh ride adventure on Christmas Eve.

Each page is enhanced with flickering streetlights and gently falling snow and the iBook is designed to enhance the reader’s experience with key interactive features including three options of reading; ‘read to me’, ‘read myself’ or ‘record me’ as well as 18 mini-games.

The iBook also gives readers the chance to enjoy animated films with secret movie episodes along with the ability to create Christmas cards to share. It is priced at £2.99.

A Forever Friends Christmas Animation has also been released titled The Magical Fairy Bear.

Developed to promote Forever Friends to its worldwide strong base of fans, this four-minute, 3D animation is a story about a Christmas adventure introducing new characters of Fairy Bear, Santa Bear and Ballerina Bear in a heart-warming bedtime story. This animation is available to watch via Facebook or YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/SharingHugs).

Emma Read, Brand Manager of Forever Friends, said: “With more and more children and families having access to new technology, we knew it was time to take the world’s cutest bears and make them digital.

"The brand has a phenomenal following worldwide and there is constant demand to launch more and more opportunities to enjoy the bear through all outlets, so much so that we’re already working on the next digital project.

“We made the conscious decision to provide downloads for free or for a minimal cost to engage and expand the Forever Friends’ fan base. The results speak for themselves; after just six hours launching the animation on Facebook, we received 100,000 hits.”
