Santoro is enjoying a busy start to the year with its Tutti Cuti and Gorjuss properties.
The company has sealed a deal with Italian footwear and accessories firm DeFonseca SPA for Tutti Cuti slippers, leisure shoes, beach sandals, flip flops, rain boots and umbrellas. The first collections featuring Tutti Cuti Bloomin' Cute and Tutti Cuti Mini Playtime Cuties characters will be launching in Italy for autumn/winter 2010.
Meanwhile, over in France, Pictura SARL has become the first French licensee for Gorjuss. The firm will be developing a range of postcards and dated product for launch later this year.
"The Gorjuss girls are surely among the most attractive characters that I have ever seen," said Thierry Heinerich, MD. "All of us at Pictura are very impressed by the quality of this brand and look forward to sharing it with our customers."
Gorjuss is also beginning to take off in the UK, with papercraft licensee The Crafthouse Press signing up. The firm is developing 3D decoupage papers, card making kits, artists' trading card kits, topper sheets and embellishment kits.
Finally, FB Beauty is backing Tutti Cuti with a broad collection of beauty gifts and accessories, toiletries, cosmetics and a fragrance for the UK, while Aykroyd & Sons and TDP Textiles will be producing ladies and girls nightwear and underwear for the brand.
Santoro general manager Jo Campbell said: "It's great to be working with Aykroyds and TDP, two very well known and respected companies, after chatting for years but never partnering together on a brand before."
