Golden Goose to develop licensing drive for Maison Blanc

Firm appointed exclusive licensing agency for French bakery.

Golden Goose has been appointed as the exclusive licensing agency in the UK for French bakery, Maison Blanc.

The French patisserie and boulangerie was originally created in 1981 by Raymond Blanc. It has won awards for its French breads, patisserie, cakes and seasonal specials.

As well as supplying the 14 retail outlets that serve a million customers a year, the company's wholesale division also produces cakes for Waitrose under the Maison Blanc brand, selling between 40-60,000 cakes per month.

Golden Goose is now planning to launch new products for January 2014 including a range of gourmet sandwiches, kitchen gifting and ceramics. Further products based around the brand's expertise in chocolate are also in the pipeline.
