Santoro London has been appointed as the licensor for Gorjuss, a new art property featuring female characters, wildlife, plants and other natural imagery.

Key themes include love, innocence, serenity and the capacity to dream, with all the characters pictured in 'heartfelt' situations to appeal to children and adults.

The property has been designed by Scottish artist Suzanne Woolcott.

Santoro will now be looking to develop Gorjuss as a brand. Fine art prints and originals are already available online, while Santoro is developing stationery and greetings cards. Licensing opportunities also extend across children's books and publishing, collectables, bedroom decor/art, jewellery, bone china mugs, gifts, bags and purses, t-shirts and clothing.

First presentations of Gorjuss were made at Licensing International earlier this month, with pre-launch feedback from UK retailers also proving positive.
