The Gourmet Candy Company has extended its RHS confectionary range and expanded the network of retail outlets supplying the range.

Along with the existing selection of chocolate gift boxes, nougat and bonbons, the RHS Confectionery range now includes brand-new fudges and chocolate-coated honeycomb bars. All items in the range will use packaging designs inspired by the RHS Lindley Library, the world’s finest collection of botanical art.

The confectionary range is available through UK wholesalers including Crème d’Or and Cotswold Fayre and has been supplied to garden centres, farm shops as well as RHS shops and RHS gardens.

The range has experienced a very successful first nine months and listings have now been expanded to include Waitrose Food and Home Stores, and distribution is now underway in Sweden, the US and Italy. The Gourmet Candy Company is still receiving regular enquiries about the RHS confectionery range and believes that further outlets and countries are likely to be added to this list.

"This range unites elegant design and a much-loved brand with some of our finest premium confectionery – to amazing effect, as the retail response has indicated. The RHS really is a great fit for our product range,” said Jaime Waring, sales director, The Gourmet Candy Company.

Cathy Snow, RHS licensing manager, added: “We are really pleased that this wonderful collection of fun, novel and tasty confectionery has performed so well for us. These delightful additions to the RHS Confectionery range will, we are sure, further strengthen our licensing agreement with The Gourmet Candy Company.”

The Gourmet Candy Company is based in London, from where it supplies British-made fudges, toffees and honeycombs or exquisite private-label chocolates and sweets through retailers and distributors in over 20 countries worldwide.
