One of Britain's most successful film companies, Hammer Horror will be the subject of a two-week long festival, kicking off next week to coincide with Halloween.
The Hammer Festival will begin on October 27th and run through to November 15th at the Idea Generation Gallery in Shoreditch, East London.
On display will be posters, photos, limited edition prints and artwork from the new Titan Books publication Hammer Glamour. In addition, there will be a special Shop of Horror offering posters, prints, DVDs and books. Screenings of the famous movies will also be taking place.
The gallery shows are free to the public and open from 12pm to 6pm on weekdays and 12pm to 5pm at weekends.
Coolabi's licensing programme for the brand also continues to grow. A wide range of merchandise is available including high-end men's gifts and fashion, arcade games, trading cards, commemorative postage stamps and an interactive DVD board game.
"The Hammer Festival is a brilliant concept and one that perfectly captures the stylish, scary and sexy associations of the Hammer name through a lovingly planned and selected series of events, exhibits and film screenings," said Janet Woodward, head of licensing at Coolabi. "It's sure to be a hit with fans - and a clear reflection of the success of Hammer, not only as a film company but as a brand."
