Haven Licensing is expanding its territorial responsibilities, opening up a new office in Auckland, New Zealand.

The opening comes hot on the heels of the firm's 15th anniversary celebrations, and means Haven now has a team of 45 servicing its blue chip brand portfolio. Other offices are in Sydney and Melbourne.

"Our growing portfolio in New Zealand has led us to establish our first localised operation and we are thrilled to be opening up operations in Auckland," said Haven's MD Tom Punch.

The NZ office will be headed up by Delwyn Karanikolaou, who most recently worked in the communications department of Farmer's, controlling all the department store's external and in-store promotions.

Haven director Yvonne King added: "New Zealand is a very important part of our territorial responsibilities and we have spent a considerable amount of time seeking out exactly the right person to take our business to the next level in that market.

"We are thrilled to have secured the services of Delwyn, who has an unbeatable pedigree in NZ retail."
