Licensing agency Beanstalk is celebrating strong growth for its Hong Kong office, revealing a number of new deals at this week's show.
The firm's new partnerships include an agreement with ride-on specialist Kalee Children's Products for several of its automotive clients. The firm will be developing ride-on toys to be sold worldwide.
Meanwhile, AutoOcar is also on board with the Ford Motor Company to develop the world's first Bluetooth controlled die-cast car.
Also at the Hong Kong International Licensing Show, Jaguar licensee Eurolink picked up the Best Licensee accolade at the Asian Licensing Awards. The firm won the award for its Jaguar leather goods collection, which retails at over 80 points of sale across China.
"To be able to announce two significant innovative partnerships in addition to our first award in Asia is testament to the strength of the Beanstalk team in Asia, and the world class roster of clients we represent," said Ciarán Coyle, MD, international at Beanstalk. "I am extremely proud of Beanstalk's accomplishments in 2010, and am looking forward to seeing continued growth in this dynamic region.
"We anticipate a very busy three days at the show. Brand licensing in Asia is a major growth area."
Coyle will be a panel speaker for the Brand Licensing in Asia - Still a New Horizon session on Tuesday January 11th.
