Karen Millen names Global Brands Group its bags and small accessories licensing partner

London-based international fashion retailer, Karen Millen has named Global Brands Group Holding Limited its international bags and small accessories license partner.

The new global deal was brokered by IMG and will allow for new opportunities to take Karen Millen’s bags and small accessories ranges beyond its standalone stores and online channel, into multi-brand environments and global department stores.

The appointment is part of the retailer’s wider growth strategy.

Global Brands Group has seen a lot of success in the area, having worked with a number of fashion brands including Calvin Klein, Kate Spade, Juicy Couture, Michael Kors, All Saints and Fiorelli.

Beth Butterwick, CEO, Karen Millen, said: “Over the last three decades, our customers have loved and appreciated the design detail and quality of our bags and small accessories. In order to successfully drive our next phase of growth, I am delighted that we are entering into a licensing partnership with GBG.
