The organising committee of this month's licensing golf day is aiming to raise over £2,000 for the Light Fund, with 60 attendees already confirmed for the event and a number of corporate sponsors on board.
The event takes place on May 21st at the Mid Surrey Golf Club in Richmond and is being organised by Andrew Levy from Licensingpages, with support from Anthony Temple and Alicia Davenport (DRi/Rainbow Designs), Simon Gresswell (IMG) and Rob Corney (Bulldog).
This year, there will be two options - a full 18 holes for experienced golfers and a special introductory session for non-golfers and 'hackers'. A carvery lunch and charity auction will round off the day. The cost is £130 per ticket. For further details, contact Andrew Levy by clicking here.
Some 60 attendees have confirmed so far including representatives from 4T2, Aardman, AT New Media, Bang on the Door, Blues Clothing, Chapman, Cartoon Network, Kazachok, Nickelodeon, NBA, Rainbow Productions, Start Licensing and Vogue to name just a few.
A number of corporate sponsors - including Start, Kazachok, Chapman and Cartoon Network - have lent their support.
"The day is all about having fun and raising money for the Light Fund, so we want everyone to come along, even if they have never picked up a golf club in their life," said co-organiser Rob Corney.
