Last week's annual licensing industry quiz night in aid of the Light Fund raised over £10,000 for the charity.

33 teams packed into the newly named Woodstore Brasserie in North London for the popular event, with Coolabi running out eventual winners with 128 points.

Rubie's - The Hairy Putters - came second with 124 points, followed by Character Exchange (Computer Says No) with 122 points.

The prize for the best team name went to Rainbow Productions, or There's No Place Like Foam.

Down at the other end of the table, however, was 4Kids - who took home the traditional pair of big pants. RDF Rights and Character World also finished in the bottom three.

More than £1,700 was raised from the raffle alone, with the final tally for the evening as a whole expected to top £10,000.

Meanwhile, the date has been set for the Northern leg of the quiz. The event will take place once again at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester on March 18th 2010.
