Cupcake and cake specialist, Lola’s Cupcakes has partnered with Sanrio to launch a range of Hello Kitty inspired baked treats.

The new deal – brokered by Sanrio’s UK licensing agent, Fluid World – will see the launch of a range of specially designed Hello Kitty cupcakes, as well as a range of celebration cakes.

The new partnership marks the first of its kind for the Hello Kitty brand, being the first time the property has collaborated with a bespoke cupcake company in the UK.

The handcrafted range was unveiled to the public at Lola’s Selfridges Food Hall Concession on April 9th.

The branded cupcakes will now debut in four additional Lola’s stores around London, including Brent Cross, Topshop Oxford Street, Covent Garden and Bluewater Shopping Centre.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be working with such a fantastic brand,” said Asher Budwig, managing director at Lola’s cupcakes.

“Hello Kitty is recognised all over the globe and we’re very excited to be able to offer our customers this fantastic range of cupcakes and personalised celebration cakes.”

Andrew Lane, CEO of Fluid World, added: “Lola’s products are extremely stylish and fashionable and this makes them the perfect partner for the Hello Kitty brand.”
