A long-term licensing programme is being developed in the German market for pre-school brand Kikaninchen, following a tie up between m4e and Simba Dickie Group.
Simba and its brands will develop a range of soft toys, wooden, creative and outdoor products, as well as games and puzzles for KI.KA's show. The line will initially be presented at Nuremberg Toy Fair in February 2011.
"What lies behind Kikaninchen is a pedagogically valuable and lasting licensing concept that addresses all children," said Andreas Schmitt, chief executive of Simba Toys GmbH. "The happy KI.KA character offers guidance and stands for responsible interaction with children and their own development. This philosophy matches perfectly with our own."
