Bulldog scores three new partners for Match Attax

The brand will move to publishing, bags and nightwear with new deals.

Bulldog Licensing, the representative for football trading card game Match Attax has announced a slew of new partnerships taking the intensely popular playground sensation to new categories.

Centum is to move the brand to the publishing space with products including annuals, while Sambro will introduce bags, backpacks, stationery and table football products.

Finally, Coneen will be introducing Match Attax nightwear and underwear lines.

Match Attax boasts incredible potential in the licensing space, as the top selling sport trading card game the world has ever seen. The brand also has a massive online presence, boasting over 800,000 registered users, making it the ninth most visited boys' site in the UK.

“We have attracted a huge amount of interest in this brand since we introduced it to the licensing community last year,” said Bulldog MD Rob Corney. “Match Attax is amazingly popular and – as these initial agreements show – can work across any number of categories, so there’ll be plenty more deals to come.”

Bulldog has reported that nearly half of young boys in the UK collect Match Attax.
