A two-CD festive compilation is being launched by EMI this Christmas featuring the popular Me to You brand.
Carte Blanche Greetings is continuing its successful partnership with EMI, releasing Me to You at Christmas, which includes 40 festive songs.
In addition, it also comes with a unique code to unlock a virtual gift in the free-to-play online social games, Me to You My Place. The gift is a digital gramophone which plays clips from the album.
TV advertising will be supporting the album launch, along with marketing and PR activity across the media.
"Me to You has always had a strong seasonal presence, particularly in the greetings cards and gifting categories," said Caroline Weaver, CBG brand manager. "It's wonderful to be able to expand the brand into music this Christmas. We're confident Me to You at Christmas will have a huge appeal across the generations, and we're keeping everything crossed for a chart hit."
CBG has previously worked with EMI on Me to You With Love, which reached number two in the compilation album charts in February.
