Metrostar signs up for The Little Prince

Metrostar has been appointed to represent iconic French children's book, The Little Prince, in the UK.

Having struck the deal with SOGEX and Propertiz, Metrostar will be seeking partners in the nurery, apparel, giftware, greetings, accessories, toiletries and other related categories.

It will be showing the property at the upcoming Brand Licensing Europe.

The most translated non-religious book in the world, over 150 million books have been sold. Licensing programmes are already established in Europe, North America, the Far East and Australia.

"The sheer delicacy of the illustrations and the poignancy of The Little Prince story make it the ideal property for those licensees and retailers looking to create high quality, beautiful products for babies and young children," said Claire Potter, Metrostar's MD.
