Monster Jam builds portfolio with digital collectables

Fantom will produce digital stickers and albums for monster truck brand.

Monster Jam will expand its licensing portfolio with a range of digital sticker albums and stickers from Fantom.

Fans will be able collect a range of images of popular Monster Jam trucks and drivers on Facebook and mobiles, following a deal brokered by agency Bulldog Licensing.

Collectors will also be able to swap and trade online with other enthusiasts.

Monster Jam draws more than four million fans a year in over 350 stadiums and arenas, with racing and stunts. It's owned by Feld Motor Sports.

Rob Corney, Bulldog's MD, said: "Digital collectables is very much a growth category so we are delighted to have signed this agreement with Fantom for Monster Jam.

"It adds another sector to what is a wide angling programme for a very popular brand."

This is the latest deal in an expanding licensing programme for the Monster Jam brand, which currently includes master toy licensee Mattel, Top Trumps cards from Winning Moves and apparel across Europe from Sunset.
