Mr Men and Little Miss fly to Asia

Chorion and licensing agent Click are further building the brand in South East Asia and the Greater China region, securing a number of high profile promotions.

In the Philippines, a new exclusive range of children’s and teen apparel will launch in Shoemart department store from September. With a total of 35 branches nationwide, Shoemart is the leading retailer in the country.

In a separate deal signed with Neat, Shoemart is currently offering Banana Peel Mr. Men and Little Miss branded flip flops which are additionally available at Banana Peel stores.

In Singapore, 7-Eleven stores will be selling a series of ten collectable phone danglers. Consumers who collect the entire set have the chance to win limited edition Mr. Strong and Little Miss Naughty plush toys.

In April, another key partner, Biscuits World kicked off a promotional campaign for Mr. Men branded biscuits via 12m long metro bus signs that cruised Singapore for three months.

Since their appointment as agent for the Mr. Men and Little Miss brand in South East Asia and Greater China in December 2007, Click has signed 24 licensees across 15 categories in seven countries, incorporating apparel, bedding, publishing, toys and accessories.
