The deal will see Exim represent the publishing-based brand for merchandising and promotions in Latin America, the Caribbean and Hispanic Puerto Rico.
Having already entered the US, UK, France, Australia and Japan, Chorion believes the brand, based on the original book series by Roger Hargreaves, will be a hit with consumers who are embracing the trend of self expression in the new territories.
"Mr. Men & Little Mis is a property that truly knows no borders," said Pamela Ferris-Muller, Chorion's VP, licensing, The Americas. "Exim knows the Latin American market better than anyone else. Their expertise will help to insure that Mr. Men & Little Miss enjoys the same success there that it has acheived in the United States and around the world."
"Mr. Men & Little Miss is a great property. It is modern yet with a timeless humour and appeals to both youngsters and adults. We truly believe Exim will enjoy working with Chorion and with this terrific property that has such great potential," said Diego Barassi, Exim's senior marketing VP for the region.
