The licensing programme for BBC hit comedy Mrs Brown's Boys continues to build, with the success of the series one DVD bolstering other licensees.
The DVD has passed sales of a million copies and remains at the top of the TV chart, as well as being in the top five of the overall UK DVD sales list.
Series two is due to hit shelves in May, while the live tour DVD will be released in November.
The success is a major boost for the licensing programme, which is being handled by Rocket Licensing.
Product already includes apparel, apps, posters, calendars and cards. Audio and mobile content specialist Voice Express is now offering special iPhone soundboard apps, while Danilo has produced a line of sound cards as well as regular print cards. Mrs Brown's Boys t-shirts are also available from Trademark and Gbeye has launched a selection of posters and badges, tattoo packs and magnets.
"The success to date shows Mrs Brown has really caught the imagination of the nation," said Charlie Donaldson, joint MD at Rocket. "There's enormous interest across a lot of categories already and as news of the DVD sales spreads, even greater interest will be generated."
