Atlanta-based corporate licensing agency, Nancy Bailey & Associates is to be merged into Beanstalk, creating a major new force across the US, Europe and Asia.
Omnicom Group's Diversified Agency Services has acquired the agency, which was founded in 1982 by Nancy Bailey (pictured). It now becomes a division of Beanstalk, with Bailey becoming vice chairman and reporting to Michael Stone, Beanstalk's president and CEO.
Both firms currently represent a number of Procter & Gamble brands, with these now being handled by one integrated global team across the US, Europe and Asia.
"Nancy Bailey & Associates and Beanstalk are without question the two pre-eminent brand licensing agencies in the world," said Tom Harrison, CEO of DAS. "Together, they form the biggest, most experienced, successful and innovative licensing agency in the world."
Bailey added: "I have been in the licensing business a long time and I can truly say that there is no organisation other than Beanstalk with which I would rather merge my company."
