Coolabi has bolstered its team with the appointment of Natasha Dyson as its new head of licensing.
Dyson most recently held the same role at Chapman Entertainment.
She will now be overseeing the licensing activity for Coolabi's portfolio of brands, including Poppy Cat, Purple Ronnie and Scarlett & Crimson, plus Bagpuss, Clangers and Ivor the Engine, which the firm represents on behalf of Smallfilms and Peter Firmin.
"Natasha has an impressive track record in working on major international brands and she is going to be a great asset to Coolabi as we ramp up activity for the year ahead," said Jeremy Banks, the firm's chief executive. "We are delighted to have secured someone of her calibre as we continue to grow our properties both in the UK and worldwide."
Prior to Chapman, where she worked on brands including Fifi and the Flowertots and Roary the Racing Car, Dyson worked in the commercial department of 19 Entertainment and started her career at the Beanstalk Group.
