Paramount Licensing and American Greetings are aiming to make consumers 'an offer they can't refuse' with a new line of classic film-based greetings cards containing embedded sound chips featuring some of the best known movie lines in history.

The initial line will include ten cards (selling for around $4.99) and will arrive in US stores in late March/early April. A second shipment is due to be released in June.

The cards will be based on Airplane, Clueless, Dreamgirls, The Godfather, Major League, The Naked Gun, Old School, Road Trip and Tommy Boy.

Specific examples include Don Corleone (Marlon Brando) saying "Someday, and that day may never come, I'll call upon you to do a service for me" and Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) of Police Squad quoting: "The truth hurts doesn't it? Oh sure, maybe not as much as jumping on a bicycle with the seat missing, but it hurts".
