Busy CCL has revealed its latest partnership - this time joining forces with US music publisher Primary Wave Music Publishing.
The partnership will focus on identifying new opportunities to licence the firm's music catalogue.
"I have long admired the way Primary Wave Music Publishin market their song rights - from developing an animated series featuring the songs of Hall and Oates to licensing Nirvana lyrics on Converse sneakers," said Michael Gottlieb, head of licensing at CCL.
Justin Shukat, general manager at Primary Wave, added: "We are delighted to be partnering with CCL in this way. They have impressed us with their ability to place song rights with mass merchants such as Marks and Spencer, Mothercare and Sainsbury's."
Primary Wave's catalogue includes an interest in the Beatles' songs written by John Lennon, the catalogues of Kurt Cobain/Nirvana, Steven Tyler/Aerosmith and Daryl Hall and John Oates among others.
