A new apparel range starring King Features' Olive Oyl character is due to launch from Italian firm Iceberg.

The autumn/winter 2011 collection will include embroidered and embellished jeans, tops and sweatshirts and will aim to 'embody the personality traits' of the character.

It will launch worldwide, with price points ranging from $125 to $500.

"Olive Oyl is iconic as an international superstar," said Cathleen Titus, VP of international licensing at King Features. "With her sassy attitude and flair for the dramatic, Olive Oyl personifies a fearless approach to fashion. The teaming of Olive Oyl and Iceberg in this new collection mirrors the strengths of these two great global brands."
