Perfetti Van Melle is further expanding its presence across the German speaking region with an extended partnership with the licensing agent g.l.a.m.

The move is based on the positive development of the existing cooperation in selected food categories. Beanstalk and Perfetti Van Melle have now entrusted g.l.a.m. with the licensing of the lifestyle brand in manifold non-food categories.

Christine Cool, licensing area manager for Chupa Chups, said: “We are looking forward to the cooperation and to bringing the characteristic Chupa Chups fun and colourful lifestyle further to the German speaking territories, also in the non-food areas.”

Kristin Ehring, director of sales and accounts at g.l.a.m., added: “We are delighted about the additional opportunities in the representation of Chupa Chups.

“The experience gained in the food sector will be a perfect basis to find the right partners also in the non-food categories and we are proud to contribute to the expansion of Chupa Chups in GAS.

“The absolute unique brand design, the comprehensive artwork for a great variety of lifestyle categories combined with the extremely high recognition value offers great licensing opportunities. Therefore, we are confident to build a successful licensing programme for the Chupa Chups brand in all categories available.”

Next November, g.l.a.m. will present the Chupa Chups brand LIA’s Licensng Market 2017, a one day networking event held in Munich.
