Performance Brands reveals McDonald's tie up

Performance Brands has unveiled details of a new promotion which will see Planet Cook premiums given away in McDonald's promoting family cooking at home.

Planet Cook aims to introduce kids to cooking and the importance of a balanced diet in a fun and fast paced format. It first broadcast on BBC and will be airing from October 12th in the daily breakfast slot on Channel 4, 4OD and Channel 4+1.

The McDonald's promotion will see range of Planet Cook premiums given away free to millions of consumers during the four-week promotional period.

These will consist of a toy/gadget, as well as a recipe for kids to take home and make with their parents, for example the Spider Crab Chopsticks and an accompanying recipe for Sunken Treasure Noodles.

"This promotion is a really positive collaboration; the premiums will allow kids enjoying their meal to learn more about food and encourage them to go home and experiment with different recipes and food types," said Performance Brands' Eve Hutson.
