PGS Entertainment has secured a raft of global sales for the Method Animation and DQ Entertainment series, Robin Hood: Mischief in Sherwood.
The series – aimed at kids aged six to ten years old – has already been licensed to broadcasters in Belgium, Norway, Switzerland, Netherlands and Luxembourg.
The animated show also airs in Ukraine, Scotland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Canada and Brazil.
However, the new deals with TF1, ZDF and DeAgostini, will see Robin Hood: Mischief in Sherwood be made available in HD CGI and 3D for the first time.
Robin Hood: Mischief in Sherwood follows the adventures of a young Robin of Locksley and his band of friends.
“This is a wonderful series for six to ten year old kids, especially because Robin himself is ten years old,” said Phillippe Soutter, president of PGS Entertainment.
“Kids can relate to Robin’s thirst for adventure and mischief and parents love the lessons that he and their kids can learn along the way.
“Sales continue to be strong among the world as this is a story that crosses all cultures. We are delighted to welcome all the new broadcasters to the Robin Hood family.”
