The collectable toy brand Pikmi Pops is continuing to build out its UK licensing portfolio with the addition of three leading licensees.
Roy Lowe, The Design Group UK and Dreamtex have each joined the growing roster of partners for the brand, each inking deals with Bulldog Licensing.
Created by Moose Toys - the team behind the global hit Shopkins - Pikmi Pops is a range of sweet-scented miniature plushies that come with surprises, packaged inside a lollipop vessel. Each Pikmi Pop has a host of treats inside.
The toy line has become a hit with its target market of girls aged five to nine who enjoy its quirky characters and surprise elements. The brand has sparked a playground craze and reports of huge UK sales are coming in for the brand that has been the number one brand in the UK for the last six months.
The new agreements will see Roy Lowe produce a collection of Pikmi Pops themed socks, The Design Group UK will launch greetings cards and gift packaging and Dreamtex for bedding.
The deals add to a growing licensing programme which includes Aykroyds for nightwear and swimwear, Blues for leisurewear and Blueprint for stationery.
“Pikmi Pops is proving to be hugely popular,” said Bulldog Licensing director Vicky Hill,. “Kids just can’t get enough of them and it’s no surprise that we are securing deals with so many top licensees. I am sure we will be announcing yet more deals very soon.”
