Poetic Gem signs up for Roary

Clothing firm joins list of partners for Chapman brand.

Chapman Entertainment has sealed a new partnership with Poetic Gem for its Roary the Racing Car property.

The deal runs until March 2012 and will see the production of outerwear for boys aged one to six, including jackets, cagoules, sweatshirts, hoodies, t-shirts, jeans and joggers. All products will be available to buy from spring/summer 2010.

Natasha Dyson, head of licensing at Chapman Entertainment commented: “Poetic Gem is a great organisation with huge experience in clothing licences. We are really pleased to be working with such an established company and we are sure that the new range of Roary outwear products will take the chequered flag with our consumers.”

Elliott Matthews from Poetic Gem added: “We are extremely pleased to have secured the rights for Roary outwear products. This is a great and well established brand and we look forward to realising the huge potential with all of our customers and making it a roaring success.”

Since its launch in 2007, Roary The Racing Car has secured 34 licensees in the UK and internationally has been sold to over 138 countries.
