Licensed clothing firm Poeticgem has renewed its deal to produce apparel lines based on images from the popular Life photographic library.

The firm already produces a wide range of apparel featuring covers and pictures taken from the selection of iconic photography.

Images in the Life magazine arsenal include historical photographs dating back to the Crimean war, the Kennedys and Winston Churchill.

Poeticgem's range receives great support from retail and is listed in major chains such as Urban Outfiters, George, Tesco, Primark, Next, River Island, Matalan and M&S.

"Poeticgem have done a brilliant job with the Life license," said Bulldog Licensing Group managing director, Rob Corney.

"The apparel range is proving irresistible to consumers and retailers alike so we are delighted they have renewed the contract."

Elliot Mathews of Poeticgem, added: "Renewing the license for Life was a no-brainer.

"Our apparel range is flying off the shelves so we are delighted to extend our involvement, which will give us the opportunity to develop more best-selling lines based on some of the world's most iconic imagery."

Regina Feiler, licensing director, Life Branded Products, concluded: "We are thrilled with the relationship that we've had with Poeticgem and their innovative approach to our imagery.

"The programme is a boon to our overall brand programme."
