It will consist of cartoons, puzzles, colouring and Dinosaur King facts and will have cover mounted free gifts with every issue. The August launch was decided following a successful trial issue in July 2010.
To promote the mag, the April issue of Signature’s Dinomite magazine will host a Dinosaur King takeover.
The series follows Max, Rex and Zoe who search the world for cards which have the power to bring dinosaurs back to life. It has been a hit across EMEA and is part of GMTV’s 2011 programme line-up.
The magazine is the latest in a string of licensing deals which has seen Dinosaur King stationery, apparel, toys, collectables, homewares and more appear across the EMEA territory.
“Signature Publishing is tapping into the strength and popularity of the Dinosaur King brand with this new magazine, which is set to delight fans across the UK,” said Sandra Vauthier-Cellier, managing director of 4Kids Entertainment International.
Last year, Signature Publishing won four honours at the Independant Publisher Awards.
