Puma ties with football MMOG

Puma products and branding to be incorporated into Football Superstars.

Puma has signed a deal with massively multiplayer online game, Football Superstars, which will see its products and branding featured interactively in the game play, made possible by provider of in-game advertising, IGA Worldwide.

Players of the free to download game, created by UK-based Cybersports, will be able to kit their avatar out in the latest Puma v1.08 Speed Boot (pictured) and clothes from the virtual version of London's Carnaby Street concept store and train in the Puma Training Academy.

Richard Callaway, head of sport, Puma UK, said: "We are very excited about our new partnership with football Superstars as it provides us with a unique opportunity to communicate the brand and it's benefits to a wider audience."

Andy Law, head of business development at CyberSports, added: "We are delighted to be working with a globally recognised football brand such as Puma. they are leading the way by doing the same on the virtua pitches of Football Superstars. With a brand like Pum interactively inivolved we further blur the divide between reality and our virtual world. Association with Puma will ensure that Football Superstars will be at the top of the league."
