Four books from Purple Ronnie have entered The Sunday Times bestseller list, following some strong sales in the lead up to Valentine's Day.
The Coolabi property saw Little Book to Say I Love You Lots, World's Best Boyfriend, Perfect Lover and Little Book of Love appear in the top ten. Three more titles also featured in the top 100.
Actual sales figures show a 20 per cent increase on the same period last year.
In addition, in the run up to Valentine's Day, Tesco stocked a gift pack containing milk chocolate hearts from Beacon Confectionery and a specially produced edition of Purple Ronnie's Little Guide for Lovers, while Clinton Cars offered a wide selection of merchandise, including cards, games, chocolate body pens and mugs.
"Of course Purple Ronnie is always popular around Valentine's Day, but to have four titles in the Sunday Times top ten is absolutely incredible," said Michael Dee, director of content for Coolabi. "The brand is growing stronger and stronger each year and 2010 seems certain to bring even more success."
