Pynkiss unveils high-end fashion range for Hello Kitty

Collection to be revealed during Milan Fashion Week later this month.

A new Hello Kitty high-end fashion range is being launched during Milan Fashion Week by Pynkiss.

The range will include over 200 designs, many of which will feature crystals, beads and sequins and will be handstitched and finished in Milan.

Key pieces in the adult collection will cost between £95 and £190, with t-shirts starting at £28.

The Pynkiss collections will be available from its first ten stores, opening in January 2012 across the Middle East and Asia Pacific, as well as through concessions and department stores including Bloomingdales and Galeries Lafayette.

Accessories, bags and limited edition exclusive pieces will be added at a later date.

"Having been granted a totally unique and ongoing high-end licence by Sanrio, we wanted to create an aspirational high-end lifestyle and fashion brand designed in Milan," said Chady Jreige, founder and CEO of Pynkiss. "We are aiming for 18 stores in 2012 and in the coming years we will further enhance our retail network with store roll outs across all five continents, which will enable us to build a unique and sophisticated fashion and lifestyle brand that engages a global audience."
