Car company Renault is teaming up with Smiley for a second year to be the face of its national advertising campaign throughout France.
The firm uses the original smiley logo as a symbol of customer satisfaction for the sales and promotions of its used cars.
Renault has currently spent over 15 million Euros backing the campaign, significantly increasing the awareness of the Smiley brand in the process.
"The power of their media budget puts back Smiley in the face of dozens of millions of people and hopefully reminds them of the power of a smile," said Smiley CEO, Nicolas Loufrani.
The original smiley face appears in all advertising including billboards, print ads, internet ads and in-store POS.
