Roald Dahl pushes sustainability with new Creative Tops tableware line

Creative Tops has launched a new eco-friendly homeware collection inspired by the iconic children’s author, Roald Dahl.

The new range brings the storybook illustrations and famous quotes from some of Dahl’s best loved stories such as Matilda, The BFG, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and James and the Giant Peach to the tableware sector.

New products include bamboo dinner sets for children, single placemats and coasters, stacking mug sets and illustrated tea towels. New additions to the James and the Giant Peach range also include an insulated lunch bag and hydration bottle.

‘New dining sets will make feeding times fun when children can enjoy the fun-filled adventures of Matilda, Sophie, Charlie and James,’ read a statement from the firm.

‘Each piece is decorated with different illustrations and quotes to mix up the designs and create a more engaging aesthetic that children will love to use.’

The dinnerware is eco-friendly, made from renewable pressed bamboo and the sets are packaged in display boxes patterned with more Quentin Blake illustrations.

Roald Dahl is recognised as the number one storyteller with a book sold globally every 2.5 seconds. His stories are available in 61 languages and worldwide sales are at a conservative estimate of 250 million books and rising.

A charitable brand that helps those in need, ten per cent of all Roald Dahl income goes to the Estate’s charity partner to support vital work with children, nurses and families.
