Rocket Licensing has launched the Olly the Little White Van licensing programme in the UK.

Abbey Home Media has been chosen as DVD partner and master toy partner Hornby is developing a range of Olly products, including a pre-school Scalextric, set to hit retail next year. Hornby plans to support the brand with TV advertising.

Produced by Ideas at Work, the CGI pre-school show has been airing on CITV since this summer.

Charlie Donaldson, joint managing director, Rocket Licensing, said: "With Hornby and Abbey already on board and more partners on the way, we think this fun, exciting series has a lot of juice in its tank.

"The charm and humour of Olly the Little White Van, along with exceptionally strong production values, writing and casting, put the show and the licensing campaign in a very good position in the highly competitive pre-school sector."

Henry Becket, Chief Enthusiast at Ideas At Work, said: “We are thrilled with the viewer response to Olly The Little White Van and are certain that Rocket has the experience, ability and ideas needed to make this brand as successful in the marketplace as it already is on television.”
