Roobarb and Custard are continuing their association with vet charity PDSA, lending support to its Pet Fit Club campaign.
The Club is one of the PDSA's biggest campaigns and highlights the importance of a healthy diet and exercise for pets. 18 supersized pets have been selected to go on a six-month diet and exercise programme to help them slim down.
Roobarb and Custard are also appearing in a specially commissioned animation which sees them deciding to sign up for Pet Fit Club to lose weight. The cartoon will support the charity's ongoing pet diet messages.
The duo also appear on Pet Fit Club entry forms, posters and competition welcome packs.
The role is part of Roobarb and Custard's job as brand ambassadors for the PDSA, which has seen them appear on t-shirts, shop fronts, on the charity's fleet of vans and feature in its London Marathon publicity. The duo are also responsible for a surge in support for the PDSA's text to donate drive, which is raising funds for its £6 million Pet Hospital appeal.
"Roobarb and Custard are proud supporters of the PDSA and, if the recent success of the text to donate campaign is anything to go by, their involvement in Pet Fit Club should translate into huge interest," said Rob Corney, Bulldog MD.
