The RSPCA is placing more importance on its licensing activities, promoting former trading manager Cathy Snow to licensing manager.

In the new position, Snow (pictured) will be responsible for continuing to expand the licensing programme by attracting new licensees, as well as retaining existing partnerships.

She will also oversee the development of the licensing team.

"I am delighted to take on this new role, a role that enables me to further enhance a campaign that has enjoyed an excellent response from licensing partners and the public," said Snow. "A successful licensing campaign boosts not only awareness, but also the funds we urgently need for preventing cruelty, promoting kindness to and alleviating the suffering of animals."

Licensing partners already on board include Aurora, Sert-MST, Vogue International, WH Smith, John Lewis, Rayware, UK Greetings, Happy Pet, CP Designs and The Noel Tatt Group.
