RSPCA readies new Christmas card line

Special Editions, WH Smith and John Lewis all producing range of cards to benefit charity.

The RSPCA is looking for donations from this year's seasonal card sales to give it a further lift.

Special Editions - the charity Christmas division of UK Greetings - has produced a variety of formats including boxed, hand-finished cards, bumper packs and single design cell packs.

WH Smith, meanwhile, has nine cards promoting five charities including the RSPCA, with profits divided evenly between then.

Finally, John Lewis cards are on sale in more than 40 stores throughout the UK. They are sold in packs of five, ten, 24, 25, 28 and 30, with 25 per cent of the pack price going to a group of four charities, including the RSPCA.

"Donations from seasonal card sales are a valuable part of the RSPCA's fundraising effort," said Cathy Snow, licensing manager for the RSPCA. "Our thanks, therefore, to Special Editions, WH Smith and John Lewis. Their support is enormously appreciated and we will continue to encourage the public to buy these cards that support our work helping animals in England and Wales."
