Scarlett & Crimson grows in the US

Licensing agency Lisa Marks Associates has signed up Jem Sportwear and Awake has the master apparel partner for Scarlett & Crimson in the US.

The company will create a line of clothing including girls, tween and junior t-shirts, sweatshirts, dresses, tunics and bottoms. The line will launch in the back to school 2010 period.

"We are thrilled to be working on this program with LMA and building a lifestyle around Scarlett and Crimson," said Randi Kagan Spieker, VP of marketing and licensing at Jem Sportswear and Awake.

Lisa Marks, president of LMA, added: "We are excited to have such a strong and innovative company as Jem Sportswear/Awake as our master apparel partner to anchor the Scarlett and Crimson program. Teens and tweens will love the fresh styles emanating from Scarlett and Crimson's creative and original approach to life."

Scarlett and Crimson is co-owned by Coolabi and creator Ged Backland. It was touted as one of the trends to watch for 2009.
